Stallion Profile: Don Natiello a.k.a Otto
Otto was imported as a 2 year old in 2004. His sire, Don Frederico, won the 1999 stallion licensing in Verden, Germany and was second in his performance test. Don Frederico's first foals were presented at the 2004 stallion market, achieving the reserve championship and top price on auction. He has also had progeny compete at Olympic level (Diva Royale - Dorothy Schneider)
Natiello xx was a Thoroughbred stallion used within the Hanoverian breed for his temperament, rideability and rhythmical walk and trot. Galvano is by the famous sire Grande - a stallion that produced umpteen dressage and jumping horses.
Otto is a stallion with substance and stands 16.1hh. He has a wonderful temperament and unbelievable rideability, with great ability for collection and extension. His first foals have been backed and have certainly taken his great temperament. In 2008 he was the Novice South African Dressage Champion and in 2009 was the overall winner of the FEI Elementary Dressage Challenge, in 2010 he won the SANEF competition at Elementary level, the FEI World Dressage Challenge and the SANEF Competition at EM level. 2011 saw him win the FEI World Challenge, Advanced level. In 2012 he won the GHS Champs, Medium level. Toward the end of 2012 he was upgraded to Advanced level. This year he has won the Advanced Dressage Championship ar Easter Show. Otto has also won the Prix St Georg at the SAEA Competition at KEP in June 2013.
